Mark of Innocence
[/center][/b][/size]Plot
It is the year 2021 and it is 23 years after the Battle of Hogwarts. Things are peaceful, but something is brewing in the world that nobody is aware of yet. A secret has been kept, and it has been kept easily and well. Not a word of it has been muttered.
The Ministry is stronger than it has ever been thanks to Harry Potter and Kingsley Shackelbolt. Every minor dark wizard they find is vanquished by the Aurors before they even have a chance to whisper a spell. Azkaban is now under the protection of the well named Protection Wizards. The job is cush, but occasionally they are forced to help out the Aurors, though those moments are slim and rare.
All of the babies are grown up. Victoire is 21, an Auror, and madly in love with Teddy Lupin still. James Potter II is in his Sixth Year and acting much like they young man he was named after. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius are Fifth Years and finding out that being an adolescent is harder than one thought. Then we have Lily Potter II and Hugo who are Fourth Years and part of the overly large group who rule the Gryffindor Common Room. Turns out that being the sons and daughters of those popular three is rather nice.
Except the world is about to be turned upside down by this little secret. Nobody knew or knows...except for you. Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange had a simple relationship. She was his mercenary, his one true follower who never failed, but the truth was something much deeper. Voldemort never loved, but he certainly respected. The person he respected most was Bellatrix and he wanted something he had only ever dreamed of. An heir to his mighty throne. The throne that he hoped he would rule from with Bellatrix and his heir at his side....
