This lake is almost directly outside the castle. The castle is perched on a small cliff just above it, and it is a lovely place. The lake is very long and is said to be the home to the Russian version of the Lock Ness monster. At the begining and end of the year the water is always warm and is often used for swiming, or diving from the outer walls of the castle.
