A long and winding path with a small building at the base where the carriages are stored. The carriages are large and bear the Durmstrang symbol on both sides. While they have no driver there are large, black horses that pull them. The horses, while usually only seen at the begining and end of terms, are generally considered to be part plant as they have roots growing from thier hooves and long manes and tails that seem almost like leaves hanging to the ground. As this road is so long and wide many winter detentions are served by shoveling it, entirely, much to the dismay of those that find themselves without gloves.
