St. Petersburg St. Petersburg is a city and a federal subject located in Northwestern Federal District of Russia on the Neva River. St. Petersburg enjoys the image of being the most European city of Russia. Among cities of the world with over one million people, Saint Petersburg is the northernmost. The Moscow Railway station is located here where a great black train is set to take the students to the foot of the mountain, there they are picked up by carriage. Moscow Moscow is the capital of Russia and the country’s economic, financial, educational, and transportation centre. It is located on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District, in the European part of Russia. The metropolitan area of Moscow (Moskva) is the largest in Europe, whose population constitutes about 7% of the total Russian population. A large part of the Wizarding comunity is here as well. Murmansk Murmansk is a city in the extreme northwest part of Russia with a seaport on the Kola Bay not far from Russia's borders with Norway and Finland. Murmansk is the administrative centre of Murmansk Oblast. The port remains ice-free year round due to the warm North Atlantic drift ocean current and is an important fishing and shipping port. It is the largest city north of the Arctic Circle. Many wizards a witchs that can stand the cold live here.
