Plot/Story:
[Plot Overview] It is the year 2000; two years after the beginning of a new age in the wizarding world. The Dark Lord, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was defeated by the renowned Harry James Potter in the year 1998, and the magical world itself has returned – more or less – to normalcy, ever since. Magical folk have also become more tolerant with muggles, but the bias remains, no doubt; however, life goes on. But ever since the wizarding world’s triumph, security has remained a primary issue. Kingsley Shacklebolt, the new Minster For Magic, wishes to ensure that history will not repeat itself, and so he has amplified security in the magical world to a critical degree. Many believe that it is for the best…Or is it?
Headmistress McGonagall has stepped up once more to accept the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts, but does not guarantee that she will remain Headmistress for several years to come. She has now taken Hogwarts into her care once more, as the school undergoes various renovations and construction work, what with there still being signs left of the devastating events that took place, two years ago.
[At Hogwarts] Feeling that Hogwarts is in need of more protection, the Ministry For Magic has released an order that requires a Lethifold to be kept on the Third Floor of the castle. A Lethifold resembles a half-inch thick black cloak which glides along the ground at night, hunting its prey. It attacks humans by smothering them, and then digesting them, leaving no trace at all. Headmistress McGonagall is not happy about this, but is willing to go along with this order. Will Hogwarts manage to steer clear of danger, this year?
This term, look forward to the commencing of Hogwarts' most popular clubs, including: Quidditch, The Dueling Club, The Wizards Chess Club, and The Gobstones Club. Also, several school trips and occasions will take place throughout the year, and can be accessed by using your calendar. The school newspaper, also known as The Hogwarts Periodical, will keep you up-to-date on upcoming events, and regular issues from The Daily Prophet newspaper will be delivered promptly at 7:15 a.m. in the Great Hall, each morning. Stay safe, and prepare for an exciting term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!

Other Notes:
“I went to google and I typed in "Harry Potter Role Playing". I checked out a couple other sites, but they didn't capture my dream of living at Hogwarts, but yours really did.” – member on HR
Like this member, I found it so hard as well to settle on a Harry Potter RPG that didn’t die after a month or so – and worst still, I couldn’t find one that really had that essence of Hogwarts. And so, I thought…why not make one of my own. And that is what I did.
It has been a goal of mine to really take Harry Potter Roleplayers to the very heart of J.K. Rowling’s fantasy, and I am so proud to know that other members see it that way.
So now, I’m telling you: if you have been searching for the true Harry Potter experience, this is it. This site goes far beyond pretty model chicks and hot guys, and everything being perfect…it shows that there is more to roleplaying than all that.
Hogwarts: The Revolution dares to have the short, dumpy students. The buck-tooth geeks. The lanky girl who sits in the back of the classroom with the pimples and broken glasses.
Hogwarts: The Revolution dares to be…normal.
Oh, the irony.
