}- Open -{ A clock chimed midnight somewhere as a lone figure moved throughout the corridors of the school. Anjelika Athena Capkovic walked soundlessly down one of the many corridors. She had been wandering for what seemed like hours and it seemed no matter which way she turned, a new path was discovered. She wasn't lost, oh no, Anjelika knew exactly where she was headed. Well kind of. She did know that if she turned left at the next corridor and walked past the hump-backed witch statue to the tapestry of the tap-dancing trolls she would find the secret passageway that led almost straight back to the Dragon Dorms. But Anjelika didn't feel like going back to bed. Not just now anyway. The moonlight shone through the pale glass of the windows, causing an almost eerie light. Running a hand through her dark hair, Anjelika crossed her arms over her chest before heading down the corridor on her right. The complete opposite direction from her dorm rooms. Her feet hardly made a sound as she moved down the corridor with ease. Over the years, Anjelika had gotten quite used to sneaking around making as little sound as possible. As she turned a corner she thought that she heard something. In one move, she positioned herself behind a statue of a old and bald wizard with a long trailing beard. She remained there until she was sure the noise had just been her imagination. Slowly, she peered around the statue and checked the coast was clear. Once satisfied, Anjelika slipped out from behind the statue and continued her late night stroll. Sneaking around at the midnight hour was something she loved best, whether it was just a simple walk to think, or to meet up with a lover, Anjelika could always be found lurking after dark, if you knew the right spots to look of course. Anjelika continued her walk, pausing for a second as she examined a portrait of a grumpy looking wizard and a small pug-like dog who was pulling on the leg of his trousers, pulling them down to reveal boney knees. A soft chuckle escaped her lips and the grumpy wizard turned his attention away from the dog to shake his fist at her and start calling her names. Shaking her head, Anjelika merely rolled her eyes before continuing down the corridor. Sick of wandering about indoors, Anjelika decided she may as well go outside to see if she could catch any couples sneaking about having midnight rendezvous so that she could scare them half to death. With a small smirk, she made her way down to the Entrance Hall, making sure to check the usual hiding spots that couples usually meet each other in. Finally reaching the large oak doors without seeing a single soul, Anjelika pulled them open before stepping into the cool night. She was slightly disappointed that she had found no one but shrugged it off quickly. A soft breeze played with her robes as she made her way down the stone steps. Her coal-rimmed emerald orbs surveyed the grounds, looking for any sign of movement. Everything was still, except for the odd ripple on the lake and the slight movement of the trees in the wind. Anjelika let out a cry of frustration before stomping down the stone steps and making her way to the lawns, where she sat herself down onto the grass and crossed her arms over her chest in a huff. Tonight wasn't as fun as she thought it would be.

Tobias had seated himself in the largest tree he could find, his face half covered by a maroon scarf that blended nicely with his hoodie. His mother had made it for him, the black dragon emblem on the front a nice little touch in his mind. God forbid anyone ever question his dorm. He imagined he looked a little odd against the black of the old tree and the night sky, the giant blob of dark red that he was. He loved these trees, old and strong as they were. They were the only trees that could live way up here, in the Russian mountains.
He took a drink out of the unsuccesfully hidden bottle he was carrying, a bottle 'hidden' in the back of a teady bear. He grinned at the thing as he let his arm hang down from the limb on which he was perched, his back against the trunk and his legs stretched along the branch. It was the joke in his dorm. The russians all slept with guns, the Latvians with plows, the Belgins with waffles, and the Ukraineian with a bottle instead of a bear. He contemplated throwing it out and seeing if he could land it in the lake for the little Locky, the boys not so affectionet name for the thing that lived out there, but he stopped suddenly about half way through the wind up when he saw someone pass under his tree.
Anjelika. She huffed and passed under his tree to sit on the grass a few yards away. What was she doing out here? Sure he was breakng curfew by coming out here for a nightcap, but then again Alexis was one of his dear friends, thank god, so he was allowed to leave whenever he liked. He turned on his branch, looking for anyone else that might have followed her out onto the grounds, setting his bear in teh crook of a branch. There was no one else. He turned on the branch, hooked his legs around it and let himself tip backward until finally he swung around and landed on the ground with a thud, grinning at the girl. "Fancy meeting you out 'ere." Even here, in the middle of Russia, when he spoke his accent was obvious, his strange emphasis and odd letters even more pronounced then the natives. "You should'an be out you now?"

Anjelika looked up as a male voice with an accentuated Russian accent spoke. Raising a brow as he did, Lika did not look amused as the younger student tried to tell her what she shouldn't be doing. Anjelika hardly liked taking orders from her parents, so why should she from somebody who was younger than her?
"Izvinite Tobias?" Anjelika watched the boy and folded her arms a little tighter, eyeing him off, wondering what he was up to. Anjelika didn't care who he was, and certianly didn't care that she was out after curfew. Anjelika did what she pleased most of the time, not a great fan of rules she wasn't used to curbing to others wishes.
"Vhat does it matter if vy am out, or vhether vy am in bed right now?" Anjelika questioned before noticing that Tobias hands were empty. "Vhere is your teddy bear?"

He smiled and bowed his head a little, still watching her as he did. He had forgotten the order of things as always. He was a boy, that was good, he had pure blood, even better, his family had some money, great. Unfortunatly he still had no right to address her as he had. She was Russian, he was Ukrainian, she was older and age meant wisdom didn't it? Of course, the fact that she could easily have bought ten o his houses didn't hurt either, but that was neither here nor there, after all, she was a she. "An 'onor to be remembairt." It was the one thing his father had told him to say should ever he be in this situation.... This situation he was in all too often.
He laughed a little, "Deh bear?" He glanced a little toward the tree, "Vell, my bear iz ad 'ome wid my moder, bud I've fount a subsdiude 'ere..." He touched his wand momentarily, thinkgin the accio spell with all his might, and the thing dropped out of the tree into his hands as if it had been waiting for him to call. "I am 'hinking dis vaws vat you mint?" He held it out to her a little, the bottle clearly visible.

"Voo vould not rrremember vyu Tobias?", Anjelika drawled quietly, dismissing his utmost disrespect with a casual wave of her hand. She did not care much that Tobias was not Russian, but she did care that he had addressed her as such. Though Anjelika was one of a few females that still attended Durmstrang, she was still there, and for a reason. Anjelika would rule one day and then they would all know exactly what she was capable of.
Anjelika smirked when she saw the bottle and nodded sharply. "Da... Vy had a veeling vaht vyu vould have in therrre" Anjelika whispered across the night, raising a brow slightly. It was a common occurence for Slavian children to start drinking early, it was a certain way of keeping warm through the icy winters. There was nothing better than vodka or rum to warm your body up on a cold night. But drinking on school grounds, now there was a cause of concern. "Vy the drinking this late?"

He smiled a little, it was always good to have girls remember you, especially when there were so few around anymore. As she waved her hand of course he knew he wasn't hated, at least that was something right? "Yout beh suprized." He actually got overlooked far more tehn he would like, of course, he was one of the younger students.
When she questioned his drinking he had to pause for a moment, turning the bear in his hands a few times before a wide smile spread across his face. He shrugged grandeously. "I'm Ukrainian, zis id vat ve do, apparntly." He had never been a huge drinking fan but on these kinds of nights when it was just cold enough to feel the chill but not too god awefully cold it wasn't bad. "Juz Vodka iv you want." He added, holding it in her direction before adding with a grin, "I promize I have no... " He paused for a moment as he thought of the word, "Dezez?"

"Vy doubt vhat", Anjelika cooed, she was hardly surprised at anything these days, but then again Tobias was a younger student so it was normal if he was overlooked as such. She was female and in turn was overlooked a lot at Durmstrang, however she was making a mark on that, Anjelika had promised that she would finish at Durmstrang and prove to all the professors and male students that although she was female, she belonged at Durmstrang. And being as strong willed as she was, there was nothing that would stop Anjelika from making her point known.
"Dezez?", Anjelika smirked as she mimicked the exact way Tobias had spoken the word. It had sounded quite different rolling off of his tongue, but still, it was a foreign word as such. "Vodka, ze national drink of Russia" Anjelika raised a brow before accepting the bottle and taking a small sip before looking into the bottle. "Vare vyu sure vere is no dezez in here?" she teased gently.

"Alrit, you vouldn't." Personally she could be as surprised or unsurprised as she wanted, it made no nevermind to him. Although even he'd admit she was the kind of girl to have on your side so to speak. She was one of a set, a rich and pureblooded set, and that was never a bad thing. Now that he thought about it he needed to start getting more of eh remaining girls at the school on his side. While having guy friends was all well and good the girls where the ones that kept you informed, and often told of important things. Things like dances, and who other girls found attractive, and correct homework answers.
His jaw ticked just a little when she mimicked his accent. That might be the one thing he hated about going to school in another country. English and Americans thought all Slovic accents sounded alike, but he was from the middle of no where, at least as compared to the Russians. While they didn't learn Enligsh in Russia for many years there were some areas outside the main cities in Ukraine that never learned English. He knew enough to get by but was much better at Russian. "Iv I deed Anjelika I vould haf no problaim giving zem do you." He gave her the sincerest of smiles and a low bo of the head, carefully maintaining that fake protocol.

"How sweet", Anjelika murmured before rolling her eyes. It was just the sort of thing a male at Durmstrang would say. Anjelika raised a brow at Tobias and looked him over extremely carefully. He was quite tall, but there was something about him. "Vyu don't speak much Eneglish do vyu?", she asked gently. It wasn't a problem, most people could hardly speak English, but her family had been brought up half in Russia, half in England, therefore it was a necessity that she had learned both from a young age.
"Vaht brings vyu out here tonight?", Anjelika looked at Tobias with interest.
