It's the Marauders' seventh year and Voldemort's reign of terror is on its peak. He is gaining more and more supporters by the day. In these dark times, many steps are taken by the Ministry of Magic against the Dark Lord, who has come to be known as You-Know-Who. As team of Aurors is assigned to track down Voldemort and his Death-Eaters. They defy everything that Voldemort and his minions stand for. The Head of this group of Aurors is Auror David Potter.
"The Spy scares me..." - 3rd year, Ravenclaw.
Recently, it has been rumored that there is a Spy at Hogwarts. Whoever this Spy is, Dumbledore confirmed that this Spy works with Voldemort. How the old Headmaster knew this is above everyone. But everyone believed him once the first threat came. He/she is a Professor or student, no one knows. This Spy is considered very smart and sneaky since he/she chooses his/her victims very cleverly. Therefore, this Spy has been termed as 'The Spy of Darkness'.
Beware...! Because it could very well be you as the Spy's next victim.
"I can't believe the old man hooked up something like this...in a time like this!" - Sirius Black.
In these dark times, the staff as well as the students are stressed and anxious. First, the terror of the Dark Lord and now, it's the Spy that's causing so much panic and mistrust among the students. Thus, Headmaster Dumbledore devised a plan. Being the nutty old man that he is, he announces that the students of fourth year and above will be spending their weekends out of the school. They'll stay in the Leaky Cauldron and will also be able to access some parts of Muggle London. He also allows a Hogsmeade weekend for first, second and third years.
This causes havoc among the people but Dumbledore remains firm. The students need to be relaxed and free to resume their studies. All the tension doesn't help matters. Thus, their are special guards from the Ministry protecting the students out of Hogwarts.
What they don't understand is that they are safe out of Hogwarts rather than inside Hogwarts... because, ultimately, everything is not at all As It Seems.[/ul]
