These are the General Rules, they apply to the board itself, Rping rules can be found here.
1. Do not SPAM. SPAM is abbreviated for Short Pointless Annoying Messages. SPAM is not tolerated on this site.
SPAM varies from posts like:
"Yeah, cool!" and "I agree!", to anything that doesn't contribute to the topic being discussed.
SPAM is not only rude, but it is a waste of space. It also makes the site look sloppy and poorly managed. If you are caught SPAMing, you will be warned. If you repeatedly SPAM, you will be banned.
2. Chatspeak & l337 speak is strictly forbidden and it will not be tolerated either. Any one caught using either ANYWHERE on the board will face consequences.
3. If you have not replied to or posted your application within one week you will be deleted and any posts previously made by you will be deleted as well. Any applications that have not been accepted are free to be rewritten and then accepted. Beware that using an application format different from the one provided will automatically get your application rejected. Adding extra things to the application template will not change our view on your aplication.
4. Be aware that this site is rated R, so sexual themes may appear on the site at times.
This may include:
- Language
- Kissing in general
- Flirting
- Gore (explicite or otherwise depending on the thread)
- Possibly affensive ideas (things like blowing people up or killing them or something)
Sex is not allowed on this site. If you have a problem with this, do not join.
5. Have more than one account for a separate character. I. e., have an account for Alexis and for Jonas... who I don't the character of. Any inactvity for a period of time longer then a month will result in a deletion of the profile. Exceptions are things such as vacations, loss of internet, or moving but only when the staff is informed prior to your dissapearence.
Along with this you are allowed as many characters as you think you can kep up with. Please, however, refrain from taking all the characters from a certain part of the book/movie as there are probably others hat like the book/movie, ok?
Also, please have the display name on your account as the first and last name of your character or what they go by. I.e. Alexis' display name is Alexis. If you don't know how to do this then just ask, the admins will edit for you.
PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE CANNON CHARACTERS GENDERS UNLESS YOu HAVE DISCUSSED IT WITH AN ADMIN AND THEY OK IT
6. After applying, the only boards you may post in are the General boards. You must first have your character accepted by Admin before you post anywhere other than the General boards. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate ban.
7. The aplication password is River.
8. Please speak in English, using your best grammar and spelling possible. We know that English is a second language for many people, but try to do your best. It is alright if your character speaks more than one language, but do not write your entire thread in a different language. There is a also spellcheck on the site (at the bottom of your reply next to ‘preview‘) which will help fix incorrect spelling.
The following ways of typing are forbidden on this site:
- l337 speak: 4|-| //0
- ‘Chat’ Talk: “u r da bomb foo n wil b 4 eva“; “Y ish mai feets cowld“. Do not use “u” for you, ‘b’ for be, or ‘2’ for two. Spell it out or face Admin wrath.
- Up-and-down Text: LiKe OmG ThIs Is So AnNoYiNg To ReAd!
- Caps Lock: DON’T TYPE LIKE THIS. PEOPLE WILL THINK YOU ARE SHOUTING!
Correct way of using caps: “He said WHAT?!” Incorrect: “HE SAID WHAT?!” You could also emphasize your words by bolding or italicising them, for example: “He said what?”
- Excessive smiley faces: XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD
- Excessive punctuation: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or !?!?!?!?!!??!!?!?!?!?!
Also, please make your font a normal size. Small fonts are very hard to read, especially if they are in bright colors like yellow or pink or purple. Please stick to the normal sized font and normal coloured fonts.
We especially emphasize not using ‘Chat’ talk and l337 speak, because it is hard for many members -and Admins- to decipher what you are saying. It is especially hard for people that do not speak English as well as some that do. Don’t do it.
9. NO CROSS-OVERS. No Anime-crossovers. No Lord of the Rings crossovers. I know Pokemon is a great show, but I don’t think any of the characters will have Pikachu joining the crew any time soon.
10. In any thread, do not post a random OOC message. If you want to add an OOC message to a post, please ‘Modify’ your post and place it at the bottom. To identify that your message is OOC, please use a format like the ones below.

Failure to comply will result with your post being deleted.

12. The Admins are here to keep the site running smoothly. It may take anywhere for a few minutes to a day to sort/approve/deny your application. Be patient. The staff is probably working very hard on something else.
13. Anything an staffer says is final, unless the admin says otherwise. In most cases, what you say won't change anything. Although only staffers may approve application, members are allowed to post helpful hints or praises. If you have any negative comments, please keep them to yourself unless you’re an Admin. The application part of the site is not set up for you to member-bash people. It is there so that existing members may offer help, and for staffers to approve worthy applicants.

14. All Administrators reserve the right to punish members if they have been causing trouble, regardless of what said members think. We reserve the right to deny anyone access to our RP boards and the right to report people for harassment.
